Extended care facilities maintain rows of filing cabinets to store the mountains of paperwork generated each day for timekeeping, scheduling, staffing, training, and resident files like medical and legal records required by the State. The length of time these records must be kept varies; some records must be retained forever. Over time, the non-current records are moved from the filing cabinets to storage containers to make room for more current paper records. Then, when older records are needed from storage, someone has to spend a great deal of time searching for the needed records, then putting them back in storage after the necessary information has been obtained. This exercise costs facilities time and money, as does all that non-productive storage space.

Just Lee Convalescent Center is a composite, fictitious facility modeled upon several that we've worked with and spoken to. They become so overwhelmed with paper records that they have had to build an outside storage building to store all of their non-current archives. To solve this problem, Just Lee has switched to our seamless software programs that store critical facility data electronically in encrypted databases. Over time, even old archived data can be recalled in a matter of seconds, thus saving valuable time, space, and money. |
Other vendors' software programs have been developed or modified to assist in these tasks, but the programs do not work together and/or they are not affordable. Only Ball Research offers a solution that is cohesive, comprehensive, and affordable.
